kudzu-x-no-automagic.patch

Around version 1.2.57, kudzu changed its behavior on network card hardware detection. If the physical hardware of a network card ever changed (for example, the MAC address), the network configuration file would be reset to a default (DHCP). This behavior is certainly helpful for systems with easily removable network hardware (laptops) and systems with a single network card. However, this feature is problematic on server/gateway systems; especially those with multiple network cards! For example, if you ever need to swap out your eth2 LAN card, your network configuration will simply disappear. Not good.

Special thanks to Robin Whittle for posting his ideas on this topic!
