I am setting up a server with ClearOS 7 Business.
At one point the system sent me to the Certificate Manager to set up an SSL certificate for the system. It dumped me into the part where you generate a self-signed cert for the server, which I completed, but now I'd like to install our purchased wildcard SSL cert.
In the Add Certificate function, in addition to the Certificate File, it's asking me for a Key File. Is that the private key used to generate the SSL cert? If so, why does the server need to have that? If not, what is the "key file"?
Thanks,
