IMPORTANT: Use this release of ClearOS 7.0 beta for sneak peak purposes only. Wait with reporting issues to the official beta launches.

If anyone want to test the upcoming CleaOS 7 you can download it on the page i linked beneath. The site is speaking about a beta but i think it's alpha 2 but maybe i'm wrong. :)

Hi Marcel,

No problems if you guys want to download and get a sneak peak of v7, but the new ClearOS website shouldn't really have published that ISO link. Better to get everyone testing on the same codebase, and that ISO is almost 3 weeks old...at this point, there are a lot of fixes committed daily to Github, but don't get packaged. Would hate to have you guys waste cycles on reporting things that have actually already been fixed. We need/value the community's feedback during the 'official' beta period too much to get fragmented.

Cheers,

B.

    Hi Ben,

I added a warning to the first post.

This beta looks really awesome. ClearOS is getting better every release. One thing I want to mention what did you do with the marketplace? It's loads very fast. Very big improvement! :)

This is a quote from developer Peter Balwin with a indication when we can expect the beta and the final.

We're getting close to a beta release - it's mostly just testing and dog fooding the mail stack at this point. Release dates: April 28 or May 5 for the beta and June (?) for the final release.
