I was looking for free cloud storage/hosting and just landed on clearvm yesterday. On setup page I saw that it requires atleast 2 computers. One that is I am using and other as a host server. What if for now, I want to use my laptop as my host server? I mean only 1 computer.

Yes ClearVM is a bare metal hypervisor it is not like Oracle VirtualBOX or VMWare workstation were it uses the OS to lauch a virtualization Application.
This allows the GuestVM to have more physical resources, and increases performance of the VM's. -
