I'm trying to install on an appliance with no display port using a serial console connection. I get as far as the main menu where I can pick an install option (install versus verify media and install).

Choosing install, I get the following before the output stops:

Loading vmlinuz.......
Loading initrd.img.....................................ready.

I found the following, but it's quite old, and didn't seem to be of much help:

https://www.clearos.com/clearfoundation/social/community/install-clearos-using-a-serial-console

I tried the proposed solution, but got the same result.

I couldn't seem to find anything about this in the documention.

    I've deleted your duplicate post.

A while back on RedHat's site I saw information about how to install from a serial console. I've had a quick look for it but I've failed to find it. It was part of their standard documentation. If you can find it, it may help.

Your second link looks interesting as it also gives the serial port installation options. Having said that VNC may be an easier way to go if the NIC comes up OK.
