This is for ClearOS Professional release 6.6.0 (Final).

If Content Filtering is started, when trying to browse the internet we get the message "WARNING: Could not perform virus scan!". I have to stop the Content Filter to browse the Internet.

There are a lot of messages in the system log saying "clearos app-kaspersky-core: hard starting kavdscan ..." so I imagine the problem is Kaspersky not running correctly?

    If you are still not getting updates with that, open a ClearCare ticket. That is a paid app and you should be able to get a modicum of support or MORE depending on your subscription level.

    The package fixed the content filter issue and my box is working again thanks. However if I click into Gateway Antimalware Premium it says:
    Signatures Updated Never
    Report Updated Never

    In software updates there is nothing available to install. Any ideas?

    There is an issue with some boxes and Kaspersky. We've identified the issue and have fixed it. The package is being sent to the repos as we speak and we are just waiting for the mirrors to sync but you should see a new package for 'kavscan' soon if you have the Kaspersky antivirus installed.

    If you need a temporary workaround you can comment out the kavscan line in dansguardian.conf and then uncomment it once the update has happened.
