Yesterday and today I've had this in my yum log:
[edit]
Looks like both Business and Community had the update.

Lots of google stuff installed and a lot of app updates but no ClearOS version bump - still at ClearOS release 7.3.0 (Final).[edit]
Looks like both Business and Community had the update.

The private-* repos will eventually go away. Maybe not in 7 but for sure in 8. The old method was to use repos for individual apps in the marketplace. This is not scalable because we envision hundreds and thousands of apps in the marketplace. As the marketplace has gotten bigger, we can see some needs to update both the scalability and security of the process. A new method for entitlement has been achieved but it is largely untested and is full of some 'unknowns' that requires a concerted beta which we don't see except in major releases.
Thanks for reporting issues on this though, it really does help to find solutions and provide the essential feedback loop. -

I've no idea what is supposed to be in private-verfied-updates and clearos-verified. I understand that private-verfied-updates is an interim solution and will become (again) private-clearcenter-verified-updates. Since none of the three appear in /etc/yum.repos.d I am assuming they appear dynamically so we should just accept them (and may not be able to control them). It would be nice if the webconfig worked around the three repos, but at the moment it does not. Ben is aware and working on it. -

I have "private-verified-updates" and "clearos-verified". I missed it the first time I checked.I suppose all package from the paid version coming from the private repo. Not sure what the purpose of the clearos-verified repo is. I use ClearOS 7.3 Business. "clearos-unverified is not it mine repo list.
I used the command "yum list app network --show-duplicates" wrong. So I now have a different output. As you can see "app-network" is updated from the "clearos-updates" repo. So why not from the "private-verfied-updates"?

That must be a difference between the paid and non-paid versions. I thought you had a paid version? Can you do a "yum repolist all"? Also, what version are you running? Checking app-smtp I get:[root@server yum.repos.d]# yum list app-smtp --show-duplicates

I've just had word back. If you have Business then you should not enable clearos-updates and ignore the warning. I am querying clearos-verified but I think it is a dynamic repo controlled by ClearOS and not through anything in /etc/yum.repos.d -

I did like you but then realised it was not so obvious. Try doing something like "yum list --show-duplicates {package-name}". If you do it for app-network, the latest version is in clearos-updates and clearos-verified but not private-verified-updates. Ditto app-date. The same goes for most of the apps, but I have not investigated all.
I am trying to find out who should have clearos-updates, clearos-verified and private-verified-updates. private-verified-updates is for the paid versions only but I'm not sure of the difference between clearos-updates and clearos-verified and who should have which enabled. Dave Loper does not think Business should have clearos-updates enabled but the webconfig throws an error if you don't. I am waiting further comments from the devs who are investigating. -

..... but there is a chance this is an accidental update for the three of us as we all have paid-for versions of ClearOS. I am investigating if clearos-updates should be enabled or disabled in the paid-for versions.
.... or perhaps not accidental as some of the apps are in both clearos-updates and clearos-verified but not private-verified-updates -

Localization...mostly. Nearly every app is affected by the localization updates and the ones that came yesterday are part of the core translations that appear on the ISO and wizard experience. More apps are to follow as they get localization added. We will also be bringing online tools to the community that they can use to fix, correct, and contribute to the machine-based translation that has already been done. Stay tuned.
There was also a feature introduced which allows you to use an upstream proxy for your ClearOS instance. We believe that it works well for updates but there will be apps that don't yet work with it. The marketplace is iffy. This should be considered 1.0 version of this feature so expect some hiccups. The nice thing about having it in there is now application developers can start to write their out-of-band web requests that require proxy support against this library.
This should only appear on your external interface(s) and can be set if you cannot make exceptions to your proxy rules for your ClearOS implementation. It is still better to not use a proxy since we cannot account for how other apps may or may not use the underlying frame work. A good analogy is the proxy settings for IE in Windows that have been there for years an which were used by the OS and the apps from Microsoft but only recently has been adopted by such other applications as 'Firefox'. We are in that situation as well. -
