Hey guys,

Is it possible to change the police on the clearOS server to allow the users to change the clock (date and time) in the Windows client machines?

    Dear Helen Dam,

    Thank you for your reply.
I have set up the ClearOS server as the AD domain controller via Samba.
I couldn't figure out how to give permission to the regular users to change the system clock.
I will try to double-check the group rules and post the solution here if I find it.

    BR,

    Hello Fabricio Narcizo,

In ClearOS, the server operating system itself does not control the clock (date and time) settings on client machines. The clock settings on Windows client machines are typically managed by the operating system itself or by an administrator with the necessary privileges.

If you want to allow users to change the clock settings on their Windows client machines, you would need to modify the group policies or user permissions on the Windows Active Directory (AD) domain controller. By default, regular users do not have permission to change the system clock on Windows machines.
