Hi all,

I don't know what the reason is, but usually I have problems with my DNS.
When I boot my Windows client I have to attempt several times to connect to my Flexshares.
Sometimes I lose connection to my web configuration and I have to switch from "Obtain DNS automatically" to "<local ip COS box>"
My COS box 7.9.1 is running in gateway mode.
Please tell me what you need to know to solve this, but don't make it to complicated please ...

That suggests you have more than one DHCP server running on your LAN. The common problem is forgetting to disable the DHCP server in a router being used as a WAP. This can be hard to find. When you get the problem, what DNS IP(s) does Windows show?

    Hi all,

The problem was not more than one DHCP server on my LAN.
The solution was to not boot with WinAMP that tried to read from my Flexshares, before I entered a password for it.
For some reason it sometimes locked up the connection for about 10 minutes, before I was able to login to my Flexshares manually.

It has been working fine now for the last couple of weeks, so I guess that this was the cause of the problem.

    Greetings,

    John
