I'm running a fully updated clearOS 7.5 system. When a "user" clicks on "Authenticate with Dropbox" button, the Dropbox app opens a new window pointing to https://www.dropbox.com/cli_link_nonce?nonce=xxxx, which shows this error message:

Does this mean the Dropbox app in clearOS needs an update?

    Thank you Tony and Nick.

I thought of switching from AWS S3 to Dropbox. But since Dropbox doesn’t want us, then i’ll just continue with S3.

@Mansoor, it is not just ClearOS, it is also Centos and Redhat and any of their derivatives. Even if ClearOS updated glibc, the default file system in ClearOS7 is xfs - also no longer supported. Dropbox obviously don't like us or understand the Redhat way of backporting updates.
