    Why not setup ClearCenter's Dynamic DNS service and get your free hostname...eg. whatiwant.poweredbyclear.com.

    Then, create a CNAME (alias) record:

    mom.mydomain.com --> whatiwant.poweredbyclear.com

    I don't see that this would work. You don't get any access to your poweredbyclear.com to set up subdomains. DynDNS Updater is to update accounts at DynDNS and not generally. Also I think it is a Windoze only updater.

    If you own you own domain, you could have the DynDNS Updater running on your Mum's PC. Then you set up a CNAME record for mom.my_ClearOS_Domain.xxx pointing to her DynDNS FQDN.

    What I want, and what I have now:

    Wanted: To be able from my home to just type: http.//mom.mydomain.com - Witch then point to hers current IP adress, whitch is where the DynDNS Updater comes in.

    What I have now: http://momsip.mydomain.com - Whits points to her IP in ClearOS - Works, but I must manually edit it every time her IP changes - whitch is where the DynDNS Updater whould come in.

    Something that whould update the: "https://ClearOS-P:81/app/dns";;. - Whithout be needing me to change it. manually.
