What DNS Servers have you used in Network > Settings > IP Settings? When lookups fail always try something like OpenDNS (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220), Cloudflare (1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1) or GoogleDNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4).
From the console try pinging them.
When you changed ISP, did they change the router, so did you change your external IP setting? Is ClearOS directly connected to the internet or via some other upstream device? -

I've fixed my non-working server. Don't ask.
I've pushed an update to app-wireless-ap into contribs-testing. You can update to it with:
It should install version 1.1.2. If it does not, please wait an hour and try again as the repos sync.yum update app-wireless-ap --enablerepo=clearos-contribs-testing
There are some issues. Channel selection is only 1-9 and fails the program fails (for me) if you set it to automatic. Changing WPA does nothing. It is also not good at reading back in all current selections. -

The developer has found an issue and has said he has an update, but I think he has forgotten to push the change into Gitlab. I am chasing.
Can you paste the contents of your /etc/hostapd/hostapd-wlp4s0.conf between code tags? My own issue may be device specific as I have one system where I can connect to the AP and another system where I can't and always get invalid password.
What are you planning on doing when you want to upgrade from Community? Are you intending to go to Home or Business? -

Configure it the same as you would a normal Ethernet LAN, but it must have a different subnet to your main LAN and this can cause a few issues. The main one I know of is that Unicast/multicast traffic does not go between different subnets. This can affect network printers which have a printer discovery app in Windows.
You will also need to configure the wireless app with your SSID and so on.
If having your LAN NIC's is an issue, you need to bridge your wireless and wired NIC's together. This can be done by creating a bridge interface through the webconfig giving it a LAN subnet and enabling its DHCP server. Then you have to delete the NIC you are not connected to and add it to the bridge (make it a Bridge Child). Then connect yourself to the other LAN and repeat. -

I have a set of speakers just like that .......
For basics, if you use Windows, install PuTTy for a remote terminal and WinSCP for a graphical file manager and test editor. In PuTTy you can copy text to the clipboard just by selecting it. You can also paste into it by right-clicking.
Start off by installing the apps I mentioned above, but I got a command wrong (I'll edit it):yum update app-network --enablerepo=clearos-updates-testing
If the wireless NIC does not show up in the interfaces, it may not be being detected. In that case can you give the output to:
perhaps cutting it down to the section belonging to the wireless NIC.lspci -knn

To act as a router you need to have 2 NIC's and ClearOS needs to be in gateway mode. The ClearOS External and LAN subnets must be separate, both physically and by IP range.
Wireless support is generally not recommended as a server is often not in a good location for a wireless NIC in it to give good a WiFi signal in your home or office. A better option generally is to use a router as a WAP with the ClearOS LAN connected to the router LAN. In this mode you aso have to disable the router/WAP DHCP server and give it an IP in the ClearOS LAN subnet.
However, if you want it (and it is still under a bit of development), please install the development version of app-network:
Also install the development version of app-wireless-ap:yum update app-network --enablerepo=clearos-updates-testing
Do not install the version in contribs testing.wget https://www.howitts.co.uk/clearos/ClearOS_7.x/app-wireless-ap-core-1.1.0-1.devel.noarch.rpm
wget https://www.howitts.co.uk/clearos/ClearOS_7.x/app-wireless-ap-1.1.0-1.devel.noarch.rpm
yum install app-wireless-ap*
To my knowledge there is a bug in this version where it only supports channels 1-9, and a couple of the fields have messed up naming.
