Hi all,

Long time ClarkConnect user (now Clearos), from version 4.3

I did a reinstall, after my ldap blew up. When registering the system, i found two systems under my clearos account. I chose one at random, and of course, i chose the wrong one, as the other has a paid subscription I purchased a year ago.

How do i change the registration system name?

best

Please can you raise a support ticket. It should be free with your app purchase. I don't know how to help you any further.

    Hi Nick,

Thanks for following up with me.

I did as you suggest (select), and then i went back into subscriptions to check if the subscription changed. Unfortunately, the system selected doesn't stick, and I still have the subscription assigned to the wrong system.

    See the snapshot attached

Hitting "select" just transfers the registration across. The app should then work on the new system. I'm not sure if you have to then go to the marketplace to install the new app.

    Thanks a lot.

I think i got to the right place, see snapshot. I did select the system the subscription should belong to, but there is no "save" or "apply" button. I tried just going back to the original screen, selecting the link (hoping it would stick, apple-style), and there was no change.

    Am I missing something?

Go to the ClearOS Portal (middle login on this site) > Start Using > Account > Subscriptions > Select the subscription to change > Assignment > Change the system you want assigned to the licence. While on the site you can probably go to your DNS record and switch the names round if you use your poweredbyclear FQDN.
