Clear OS Home, 7.5

In IE I get "Can’t connect securely to this page

This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner"

In Chrome I get "This site can’t provide a secure connection mail.theraaymakers.net sent an invalid response.
Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR"

Using seflsigned cert. How can I fix this?

Thanks for the help.

Do you know if you are using the bootstrap certificate or did you set up one afterwards through the webconfig Certificate Manager? Often there is an option to accept the self-signed certificate. You can check by looking for the existence of /etc/pki/CA/sys-0-cert.pem. If that exists, you have created a certificate through the webconfig Certificate Manager. On a recent installation in a VM I switched to Opera from my usual browser, Firefox, which never works with the bootstrap certificate. I did not think there was a problem with IE.

Longer term, if you can get into the webconfig, you can set up Let's Encrypt for a free certificate and use that for the Webconfig, as long as you access the Webconfig by FQDN and not IP address.
