I Need install Firebird 2.1, how to proceed?

I'm new to ClearOS is based on CentOS. But do not know if I can add repositories to install other applications or if I can download the rpm and install it.
Who can help me, thank you

Version ClearOS Community release 6.4.0 (Final)
Kernel Version 2.6.32-358.2.1.v6.x86_64
CPU Model AMD FX(tm)-8120 Eight-Core Processor
Memory Size 15.56 GB

Soy nuevo con clearos, se que se basa en centos y desconozco si puedo agregar repositorios para instalar otras aplicaciones o si puedo descargar el rpm e instalarlo.
Quien pueda ayudarme, lo agradeceré

    You can install lots of extra third party stuff from clearos-core or in this case clearos-epel

    Stick to using el6 RPMs and you should be OK

    yum --enablerepo=clearos-epel install firebird

    without knowing i activated the repository cores and I could install it, but I will take into account the EPEL repository

    sin saberlo active el repositorio cores y pude instalarlo, pero voy a tener en cuenta el repositorio epel
