Hi folks.

Prior to installing ClearOS community I was able to share files between two windows 10 PCs through basic workgroup sharing here at home.

Since installing it that has stopped working. Each PC can ping the other but not connect to its shared folders.

I am surprised that clearos has affected local file sharing.

Do I need to add rules or something to the firewall??

thanks
Tracy

I don't see that installing ClearOS onto your network should have changed anything between the two PC's, but I don't use direct filesharing between PC's. With their 1803 update M$ have made some big changes to how systems interact which does not help. It may be worth looking at this sticky and check out the Browsing the Network Neighbourhood bit. Check that ClearOS and your PC's are in the same workgroup. Also, if you're not using ClearOS for domains, do not enable "Windows 10 Domain Logons".
