Hello all,

I've installed the most recent version of clearos and was wanting to make some custom rules for QOS.

Would something like this be correct?

leagueoflegends||0x10105000|17|0.0.0.0|5000:5500|wlan0:0:0:0:512:0:512:0 \

I checked /etc/protocols and 17 was UDP.

What I'm trying to do is give priority to League of Legends which works on ports 5000-5500. The rule I entered above was based upon an entry through the GUI.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Ben.

    The QOS app for 6.x is in beta, see the posted blog entry :)

    You can create your own rules at /etc/clearos/qos.conf (see the file for syntax)

    You can enter your own rules into /etc/clearos/firewall.d/local which is probably safer as an update to ClearOS will not overwrite this file. You can also use normal iptables commands here (... or put anything here you want to execute after the firewall restarts).
