I'm wondering, has anyone attempted to host multiple php versions on COS 7?

I would love to have the option to select the version of php per directory/application on clearos, on flexshares as well.

While I know that 5.4.16 will have backports until 2024, there are applications that require newer versions and functions.

Most web hosting providers allow the selection of the php version, be that for the whole site or for specific folders/domains/subdomains and it would really nice to have that option on clearos 7

Also, alot of us have old aplications that we cant move to newer versions of php, so upgrading the whole setup to a newer version just to support one app might break another. This really brings a problem when you're trying to reduce the number of physical or even virtual hosts that you have to maintain on your network.

So, anyone tried this on COS 7 yet? Does Clear have any plans to introduce such feature/support?

I just installed the latest version of wordpress and joomla 3.5 and at least they work under 5.4.16. I'm currently testing other installs, hopefully most will work.
