I have been following many instructions on how to reset mysql password to no avail...
I keep getting ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
At the time i was busy setting privileges via the MySQL web I/F when i had a power failure
I have followed the steps outlined in - http://www.clearfoundation.com/docs/howtos/forgot_mysql_password and many other google searches..
I have spend a good 6hrs+ and i am not getting anywhere.
If someone can point me in the right direction, i shall appreciate it.
PS: It is my 1st try at mysql, so i could have screwed it up as well... the version is 5.0.77
