Any OTHER way to get into mysql as root?
For some reason mysql is not taking my root password as I set. I cannot get into this thing for anything.
I need to wipe a database and create one. I cannot get in. I know the passwords right it wont even let me change it on the beginning screen

Before I go and attempt this. Can anyone tell me if this is going to work or break links and stuff
