Anyone have any luck?
Haven't done anything with ownlocud and I'd like to give it a shot.
The threads I've seen here are for 6.2 and I can't get them to work.
Suggestions?
TIA
Robert

It's been a while since I revisited the install, [strike]but I believe I simply used the Linux Package option, searched for Owncloud, found the Centos community server rpm, downloaded and installed it. I remember I had to install a couple of dependencies but no real problems beyond that.
After wgetting the rpm, I just ran
[/strike]rpm -ivh owncloud.server.filename.rpm
I just ran through the process again. If, on the Owncloud Install page, you choose Linux Packages > Continue and choose Centos, it gives you the exact code necessary to get it installed via their repo. Even simpler than the rpm method.
I also had to setup a new MySQL db and user, but that was a snap with phpMyadmin. -

I'm looking at a few server platforms to play with at home and currently have a ClearOs box running.
Having OwnCloud installable from the MarketPlace would be a big plus.
Do we have even a guestimate of when it might be available ?
Earlier posts seemed to suggest it was imminent but is it more likely to be weeks or months away ?
Thanks, -
