Since releasing 7.9 we're doing a bit of catchup with some of the packages we've forked from upstream. The following packages are available for testing:

  • openldap - routine update to upstream release of openldap
  • webconfig-httpd - routine update to upstream release of httpd
  • webconfig-php - routine update to upstream release of php
  • ppp - routine update to upstream release
  • system-mariadb - (the system database) routine update to upstream release of mariadb plus a minor tweak to the systemd unit file (the file which starts system-mariadb) which should make it possible to upgrade mariadb to later versions from other repos or the SCL versions from the clearos-centos-sclo-rh repo without breaking the system database. Note this last part is untested and I won't get round to next week, but the main purpose up the upgrade is to come in line with upstream. If you can then upgrade mariadb, treat it as a bonus.
  • app-smtp - tweaks the setup to a more modern, safer setup using relay-restrictions.

All packages are in the clearos-updates-testing repo do can be upgraded with:
yum upgrade --enablerepo=clearos-updates-testing package1 package2 etc
