Same problem here, spotted after a power loss.
Thanks to tomas, I was able to fix the web interface issue.

What about the auto-startup? I had to start BackupPC service manually...

    thx

    Hi

I have this problem too. On Oct 13 04:58:39 the app was updated to BackupPC-3.3.1-5.el7.x86_64

    I get

"Internal Server Error. The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request." error.

    webconfig error logs now state

    [Wed Nov 02 11:49:30.676968 2016] [mime_magic:error] [pid 28920] [client 192.168.2.50:50400] AH01512: mod_mime_magic: can't read `/usr/share/BackupPC/sbin/BackupPC_Admin', referer: https://192.168.2.1:81/app/backuppc
    [Wed Nov 02 11:49:30.678650 2016] [cgi:error] [pid 28920] [client 192.168.2.50:50400] AH01215: (13)Permission denied: exec of '/usr/share/BackupPC/sbin/BackupPC_Admin' failed, referer: https://192.168.2.1:81/app/backuppc

    Edit:

After a bit of research I have found an older thread and a solution...

After running the following two commands I managed to get access to backupc admin interface.

    /bin/chown backuppc.webconfig /usr/share/BackupPC/sbin/BackupPC_Admin*
    /bin/chmod u+s /usr/share/BackupPC/sbin/BackupPC_Admin

    Hope it helps.
