Hi,

i need for an Offline VM environment an router and i wanted to try out clearOS.
I downloaded the VM-Basic Community edition and configured it till the Registration.

The registration is complaining that i am offline and i should check the internet settings. The System is offline and i have no chances to get it online. How do i am able to skip this regration or do it offline?

Every thread i found here is that the people are offline but want to be online. I dont want to be online and just finish the installation.

Thanks

IIRC - you can use the following URL to skip the registration wizard
    https://clearosip:81/app/base/wizard/stop

Please note that most of the app packages are available online through the Marketplace which you wont be able to access... It may be worth hooking it up once to your network then disconnecting it.

Also note that ClearOS usually requires access to a working DNS server to resolve IPs etc, and your system may stall without a valid network configuration. It is assumed that ClearOS is to be accessed and controlled remotely therefore it is an assumption that it will have valid network access (even if only local)

    Hi,

thanks you very much. That helps.

After entering the URL the browser jumps directly to the administration panel.
I will see what i can do with this software in offline mode. Unfortunately i am not able to bring this VM online.

    best regards
