Hi all,

After successfully installing & testing Roundcube 1.4.13 on my COS 7.9.1 gateway box in a Flexshare(PHP 7.3.29), I am only able to send and receive mails from and to users from the same domain.

Some additional info about my COS box:
MariaDB: 5.5.68
Apache: 2.4.6 (ClearOS)
PHP version: 5.4.16
phpMyAdmin: 4.4.15.10

Test result after install:
Trying to send email...
SMTP send: OK

Test result when send to a user in the same domain:
This is a test to confirm that Roundcube can send email.

I opened ports 143(IMAP), 586(SMTP) & 993(IMAPS).

I was unable to send or receive mails from and to my hotmail account.
No error message reported in the log files and this was replied after enabling a 'Delivery status notification':
This is the mail system at host <domain>.com.

Your message was successfully delivered to the destination(s)
listed below. If the message was delivered to mailbox you will
receive no further notifications. Otherwise you may still receive
notifications of mail delivery errors from other systems.

Please assist,

John

    Hi all,

When I send a test mail from the webconfig (System - Settings - Mail Settings) to a local domain user it is successful:
Congratulations. The mail notification test was successful.

But when I attempt to send a test mail to my hotmail account, I get a message from the webconfig that it was successful, but I never receive it in my inbox or junk mail.

I use port 587, because when I attempt port 465 I get the following eror message:
There was a problem reading line 1 of an SMTP response. The response so far was:
[]. It appears the connection has died without saying goodbye to us! Too many emails in one go perhaps? (fsockopen: #0)

Also when I attempt to send a mail from hotmail to a local domain user it is never received.

    Please assist,

    John
