Hi all,
Since yesterday we have the following problem that started a week after we successfully updated the system with yum.
Our standalone ClearOS box was suddenly unregistered (according to the webconfig).
After I re-registered manually on the webconfig, there have been some problems.
Web Flexshares are only accessible from the LAN and no longer from the Internet.
The external hostname on System - Settings - System Registration is wrong and I did not get the option to edit or change this.
Only the web site is accessible from the Internet.
Is there anyone else who encountered this problem or do you know how to solve these issues ... ?!?
We have a full system backup from 2 weeks ago that we could restore, but that would be our last resort.
Please assist and or advice,
John.

Hi all,
Thanks for your feedback, but the problems have been solved.
For unknown reasons the HTTPS rule was disabled in the router. After enabling this firewall rule, all related Flexshares started working again from the Internet.
Currently we uninstalled Roundcube from a Flexshare and installed it from the repository. Now we are able to login to the Roundcube web interface again.
It probably was a coincidence that these problems started after the box was unregistered.
Greetings,

If you had LAN access and not WAN access. I'd have had a look at the /etc/httpd/conf.d/roundcubemail.conf file for access restrictions or possibly for the flexshare set up. I've never used a reverse proxy setup so I don't know how that should look.
As you now have no access, I'd look at the roundcube configuration files to make sure they have the right settings for mysql and so on. I don't know where your installation will put them, so try a "locate config.inc.php". -

Hi all,
Thanks for your response Alonso ... here is an update on the problem.
After re-registering on the web interface, the Flexshare with Roundcube was accessible over the LAN but no longer from the Internet. AFAIK, the other Flexshares work like they are supposed too.
I actually selected the correct profile when I re-registered but, the external hostname is not our domain.
We tried to reinstall Roundcube version 1.2.4 & 1.1.8 (LTS), but with the result that we now are unable to login to Roundcube webmail at all (error message: login failed).
Please assist and or advice,
John
Ps. It's only possible to send and receive mails with a mail client ... not with a webbrowser. (this confirms that the mail server has been setup correctly)
