Have tried 6 different ClearOS 6.7 systems so far, all up-to-date...

Clicking on "User Guide" on various Webconfig pages - this is the result :-

Page Not Found
We're sorry, but the page you requested could not be found.


Something is badly broken...

    Good catch Tony!

    I have no ClearOS server running at the moment so I did some testing in a VM. So I tested a small number of links but in my opinion more community members should test this. This way we can help ClearCenter fixing the problem.

    Not sure who marked this topic as resolved. I didn't. I think it's a bit premature to mark the topic as resolved without feedback from the community.

    see the append I just made...

    Surely it should be the person who made the original append who decides or agrees to that !!!!!

    Thanks for the updates and fix - greatly appreciated.... however some failures below... need better quality control ?

    For Server -> File -> Windows Networking - a strange url to end up for windows networking...

    Tested some links also the links Tony posted. So far I found no dead links.

    Of course this is a important issue. If new users / customers are present with dead links this is a real bummer and not good for ClearOS/ ClearCenter's reputation. :)

    UPDATE: All redirects should now be in place for the User Guides buttons on ClearOS 6.

    @Tony (& all..),

    Sorry if you've felt ignored.. what you're seeing is a disconnect between the ClearOS 6 interface > User Guide Buttons and the docs. That being said, the docs are found here: https://www.clearos.com/resources/documentation/clearos/index:userguide6

    Hopefully while we fix the redirect issue on the GUI > Docs topic, that direct link above for ClearOS 6 docs will help.

    Another week comes and goes... nothing...

    Still no update from anyone responsible for fixing this...

    Still no resolution to the problem...

    I hate to think how long something at the bottom of the priority list would take to be enacted if this one is at the top.

    Documentation has never been a strong point since Clark Connect 10 years ago.

    C'mon ClearOS you know you can do it. Don't rest on your laurels just a wee bit more effort and you can be world beaters.

    I completely agree with you and the source of the problem is with the ClearOS leadership and the clear lack of priority in dealing with issues raised as well as communication in the forum which affects both paid and community customers. This is going to cause this distro to loose both paying and potential-paying customers, I have already lost interest here....

    Sadly, Nick...you're correct. There was a communication 'gap'....they fixed only RAID which I used as an example only...more to come.
