Hello
I was wondering which exotic architecture are supported by ClearOS ?
I'm looking forward replacing my old homemade PC by those micro-PC&barebones...
But they often come with specific architecture.
So I've searched the site to find the list of supported architecture, but without any success.
So does someone knows if those architecture are supported by ClearOS ?
- AMD A4-1250 System-on-Chip
- AMD GX-420CA System-on-Chip
- Marvell processors
- ARM processors
Bye

Both those AMD SOCs have Jaguar CPUs and Radeon GPUs so there is no problem there. However, the motherboard features, BIOS and IO implementation of the SOC might not be compatible... see an example here of a SOC with i686 & x86_64 instruction set that was a problem. (a J19 Intel SOC - Gigabyte GA-J1900N-D3V).

I know nothing about Marvell. Are they i386 or x86_64 compatible?
From what you say the SOC AMD chips are probably OK.
I cannot remember the specific instruction bt it ruled out some of the earlier Via Eden processors.
You could have a look at this thread. It seems that it must support the PAE instructions. -
