I don’t believe the settings you mentioned are available in Mac, if anyone has successfully installed ClearOS on a Mac and could provide a guide that would be great.

Replacing MacOS with ClearOS

I didn’t know what category to select, so I just picked Uncategorized So I tried installing ClearOS Home edition from a usb on iMac running Mojave, and I keep getting the errors in the pictures. I’ve tried appending “Nomodeset” to the install destination and also tried removing the “quiet” and then adding “Nomodeset”, which was suggested as a fix for the Ubuntu installations that have the same error on Mac, but those didn’t work either. I tried MacOS Journaled and MS-DOS FAT for the format types and that didn’t help either. Clicking test or install ClearOS prompts the same error screen. I followed the ClearOS Installer guide, tried Etcher, but it just keeps showing that error page. Initially it says “no controller found”, when removing “quiet” and then adding “Nomodeset” it initially works and then runs into a similar error. Am I doing something wrong here? I’ve followed the ClearOS USB installer guide step by step over and over, but it’s the same.
