  • --nodeps is only relevant for uninstalling and only works with the rpm command and not yum. As it happens, it would have been safe to remove the packages with yum as they would not have removed other dependencies.

    There shouldn't be a problem installing dependencies when you install a package.

    If you do reinstall the reports, you now know that you can easily remove them. If you want the reports, try reinstalling them.
