Wow, that went off without a hitch! Those instructions are good. I was immediately able to startx from the command line and into the Gnome desktop I went (locally). Since I had already done a command line install of the cloud backup client software, it appeared as an app in the Gnome desktop, so I was able to configure its settings and select all the folders I wanted backed up to the cloud. Awesome!
I've got the TigerVNC server running on ClearOS, but I'm waiting until the cloud backup finishes before trying the TigerVNC viewer out. The TightVNC viewer didn't work so hot.
