Last night i was successfully change my root password from terminal.
This morning i'm failed login from the web, but successfully login from terminal. Then i change my password, remove the "&" character and now it's success login from web and terminal.
I think this is a bug, isn't it? B)

Hmm I think the webconfig prevents certain characters from being used in passwords due to the various cross site scripting protection.
This was filed as an issue here, but no 'fix'
