change default dynamic dns entry

Hi

I fresh installed COS 6.8 - it generated a default subdomain 'gateway103oq8m1w7' - I can't change this name for some reason, neither in the Admin interface nor when I login in the portal. Does it have tobe changed in the box? If yes where?

If you own the device that is currently using that subdomain, you need to either change it's subdomain or delete the system from the portal. This will then free up the subdomain for you to use on your currently registered system.

    Thank you Ben!

    That was where the confusion was - there was more than one system registered so I deleted them, registered again, et voila - now it works.

    I'm the content CC/COS box user again!

    It just says

    A dynamic DNS A RECORD with this domain/URl currently exists.

    and changes nothing

    Why can't you change it either on the Dynamic DNS Webconfig page or on the ClearCenter portal?
