Would I be correct in saying that the webapp PHP version is sandboxed from the OS version? I have Nessus running on the local network and it is "hitting" us on the PHP being outdated. I installed the REMI repo and was able to update the OS version. Any thoughts on how to update the sandboxed version?

Yes the ClearOS webconfig runs in its own sandbox (both 5.2 and 6.2) - its a custom build to provide the PHP webconfig functionality...therefore its not easy to upgrade

Just a note of caution when looking at version numbers as often shown in software scanners, the 'RHEL' way is to back port security fixes into the older versions to maintain their security (hence the enterprise tag)...but this means that the version may only be bumped a minor release, and maybe misleading. Have a look at the RHEL errata for more info
