Hello,
Hello,
I'm new to ClearOS.
I need to mount a server with AD and Samba.
I made the configuration in the menu -> DNS and set the IP of the own server machine (ex: 192.168.127.20) as DNS server.
I can ping normally to this ip informed but I can not put the machine in the domain.
I installed Samba and Flaxshare.
Do I need to install which programs and what else do I need to configure?
Thank you!

You have the link to the document. There are documents linked to it. If you want, there is a Clearcenter Youtube channel, but I've no idea what you'll find there. You can enrol in the ClearOS Certifications where you'll find a load of training videos. I can't do much more unless you give it a try and, if it does not work come back with a good description of the problem you are trying to solve and the diagnostics you've done (i.e don't just say "it doesn't work").

The ClearOS domain is not an Active Directory domain, it is an old style NT4 domain. There have been big issues joining Windows 10 clients to the ClearOS Domain since the Windows 1709 update, but solutions are now available by updating Windows and/or choosing if you want to use SMB1 or not (better and easier not, but this is a recent option). Please see the first post in this thread. If you want to use ClearOS as an AD server, then you need to go further down the thread to a docker based solution which is not fully tested.
Also remember that if you want to join a classic ClearOS domain you have to do a couple of registry entries in Windows7 or later. Check the documentation.
The machines are Windows 7 Pro. Where can I start configuring ClearOS? -

I'm sorry.
I have 1 Server ClearOS (VMware).
I need to mount the AD service on this server (ClearOS).
I'm having difficulty putting the physical machine in this domain.
I would define on this server (ClearOS) the ip 192.168.127.20 (example).
I can send a ping to it by the physical machine but I can not put that physical machine in the domain.
Yes,
AD, not NT4. -

Sorry but I am not clear what you are trying to do. Does the other server have both AD and Samba? Which machine are you trying to put in the domain? The ClearOS machine? If so, there is a product, the Active Directory Connector which allows you to join ClearOS to an Active Directory domain and have the AD DC as the master user list.
What type of domain are are you joining, AD or NT4 (old style single word domain)? How are you trying to join the domain?
