  • ClearOS box sometimes does not boot properly

    Hi all,

I did not know where to post this, so I posted it here.
This problem started a while back with my previous setup running COS 7.8.1 and I hoped that with upgrading my hard disks and a clean install that it would be solved, but it didn't.
Sometimes I have too repeatedly reboot, because it gives me the following error when I boot up with the latest default kernel:

Because of this I cannot reboot my box remotely or when I need to go somewhere, I don't always have the time to boot it at all.
I usually shutdown my COS box when I go to sleep, but because of this I leave it running all night, so I don't have to bother booting it up several times in the morning.
Because I use a fake RAID1, I was required to install COS 7.1, because that's the latest version (that I have) that still supports my fake RAID1.
The only older kernel that I can choose from is from 7.1, but this kernel has the same problem and I do not like to use kernels this old.

    Please assist,

    John

Ps. Or do I have to install another kernel and set it as default ... ?!?
If this is the case, can someone please tell me how to do that ... and where to find the latest kernel that does not have this problem ... ?!?
